Fans hoping to listen to the smooth stylings of their favorite Wasteland DJ Three Dog in Fallout 4 are out of luck, at least according to some new tweets by the actor behind the voice, Erik Todd Dellums.
Dellums recently took to Twitter to announce that the Three Dog character won't make an appearance in the upcoming Fallout title.
Three Dog is the radio host and DJ for Galaxy News Radio in the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3, and easily one of the most recognizable voices in the Fallout games. He's known for playing pre-World War II music and keeping wanderers up to date on news and events.
Dellums shared his disappointment with fans on Twitter about his exclusion from the new game.
Dellums was the actor behind initial tweets about Fallout 4 nearly three years ago, stating that Bethesda gave him permission to do so. However, Dellums' latest tweets might contradict that.
Dellums does, however, appear in the Fallout Shelter mobile game as Three Dog, so he wasn't entirely forgotten by Bethesda. And Dellums is always up for playing the character again, if given the chance.
Fallout 4 releases to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 10.
