If there's one thing a show like IFA teaches you, it's that there's no wrong way to shape a pair of speakers. There are plenty of weird ones, silly ones and flat-out bad ones — but none are really wrong per se.
Take the SoundPop 36: the Bluetooth speaker shaped like a bottle — a style that, among other things, makes it easy to pick up and carry around. The form factor also allows for plenty of space for batteries, and as such, the speaker should get upwards of 20 hours worth of use on a charge.
However, there's no sound without the pop here — a tap of the top reveals the speaker itself, which offers up 360-degree sound. The actual speaker grills are pretty small for a device roughly the size of a can of Pringles. However, it's tough to say precisely how the things sounded, given the noise of the IFA floor.
There are also a series of control buttons at the top for EQ, voluming and pairing it to Bluetooth-enabled devices.
