Anyone who thought the hubbub around this year's IFA would be about anything other than smartwatches was just kidding themselves. The show hasn't even officially kicked off yet (we're still technically two days out from that), but we're already seeing wrist-worn wearables flood in.
Odds are, by the time the Berlin Messe consumer trade show has made way for the next big event, no one's going to have a ton about the Moto 360, however. The latest generation Motorola circular smartwatch has all the outward appearances of a victory lap.
The device is less about fundamental change than it is about ironing out some kinks from the previous generation. Certainly it's a nice-looking watch. Shaving the bezel makes a difference, and the metal rim gives it a good solid feel.
Motorola also had a fair number of different watch bands on display, demonstrating its versatility. And hey, who can complain about having different size options.
Aside from its lack of corners, however, it's hard to distinguish the new 360 from the pack.
