Sony's first big announcement of this year's IFA conference is, not surprisingly, a brand spanking new smartphone. The Xperia Z5 is all about the imaging features with "next-generation camera features" like improved zoom, super-fast autofocus and a 23-megapixel sensor.
The Z5 also has impressive battery life – up to two days, according to Sony's estimates. The improved battery life is cased inside a waterproof glass and etched metal frame. Also notable is the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor located on the side power button.
The handset comes in a series of options, including a Premium version with 4K video and a smaller compact edition.
