The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will hit stores September 3, the company announced Wednesday.
The company's newest tablet can be pre-ordered now through Samsung's website, Amazon and BestBuy.com. The 8-inch tablet will retail for $399.99, and the 9.7-inch version will retail for $499.99. Samsung is working with those retailers to allow consumers to trade in their existing, qualifying tablets for $100 off the purchase of a Tab S2 for a limited time, according to a press release from Samsung.
The Tab S2 is Samsung's thinnest, lightest and fastest tablet, according to the company. It comes with a Super AMOLED display, 32 GB of standard memory that can be expanded to 128 GB, and it starts at a weight of 9.4 ounces. Other features include multi-window and pop-up window functionality, Microsoft Office Solutions pre-loaded on the tablet and the ability to sync with other Samsung devices.
