These Key Characters Could Have Featured In The 'Fantastic Four' Movie

Fantastic Four is a complete failure of a film, but could it have been better?

We understand that several characters could have shown up in the movie from the original draft, but it was never to be.

If things had gone according to plan, the new Fantastic Four movie would have featured the likes of Galactus and Mole Man. We all know Galactus from the second Fantastic Four film, and we are all aware how 20th Century Fox completely botched the character and made him an angry space cloud.

We're guessing the decision not to bring Galactus into the universe just yet was because going with his real form would likely be more expensive compared to making him an angry space cloud that loves to eat planets.

As for Mole Man, he was mentioned as well, but it was not clear whether or not he would have a huge role.

What was even more interesting is when we realize that Herbie the Robot could have been featured in the film. Many moviegoers might not know who or what Herbie the Robot is. From the comics and cartoons, Herbie the Robot is a little android friend who is also part of the team.

Herbie always gets into sarcastic bouts with Ben, which is always fun to watch. It would have been great to see this happening on the big screen, but as it stands, this may never happen.

Another interesting addition that could have happened is none other than the FantastiCar. We've seen it in the comics, cartoons, and even in the 2007 disappointment Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

We can see why it was not introduced in the new Fantastic Four because this story was all about the origins of the characters. Should there be a second movie in the universe, then no doubt the FantastiCar would make an appearance or two.

Our thoughts on the original draft:

In all honesty, it came off more as a traditional Marvel Studios movie than anything else—much better than the end product. We have to wonder why it was not fully utilized.
