In anticipation for the release of Mad Max for Xbox, PS4 and PC, Warner Bros. Interactive has released a TV commercial for the dystopian third-person action, single-player video game.
Clocking in at 31 seconds, the trailer features main player and protagonist of the Mad Max franchise, Max Rockatansky tanker-trucking his way through the Australian desert (or at one point, possibly a dried-out San Francisco with the ruins of a Golden Gate-esque bridge in the background) with one or two Immortan Joe leers.
According to the game's website, the brief description of Mad Max reminds the player that "[in] the Wasteland, it's every man for himself." It then goes onto describe the basic imperatives of the open environment free-for-all: "Playing as the reluctant warrior ... [players] must embark on a treacherous journey to build the ultimate war vehicle and leave the madness behind."
Mad Max is set to be released on September 1, but it is also available for preorder.
