As the initial few fortunate owners of the highly anticipated OnePlus 2 are starting to receive their fresh out of the factory line smartphone units, OnePlus lately announced the release of its first Oxygen OS update.
The OTA enhancements aim to address different bug fixes, increase the security patch for the Stagefright, and improve its battery life as well as a few additional fixes to ensure its optimum performance.
OnePlus posted a tweet letting fans and new OnePlus 2 owners know what’s the latest for its Oxygen OS:

The OTA update includes the following changes: Added a patch for Stagefright security exploit; Improved user coherence and interface logic; Improved battery performance; Fixed issue with Google Photos pinch-to-zoom; and Fixed issue related to import/export of SIM card stored contacts Additional support for global carrier APN’s OnePlus already started the 1.1GB Oxygen OS 2.1 OTA update in India but warns fans that since this OTA is being gradually rolled out, it might take some time for it to reach all OnePlus 2 devices, which is okay for most people since they still need an invite to actually get their hands on a unit. OnePlus 2 fans posted tweets hoping OnePlus would get the hint:
