What Killed Kenny? According To A 'South Park' Fan-Made Infographic, A Lot Of Things

One of the questions of our time is that cultural phenomena of a catchphrase coined by the satirical animated series South Park: "Oh, my god, they killed Kenny!" So who are "they," exactly, that committed homicidal atrocities episode after episode, season after season, that lead to the character's routine demise? Luckily, a South Park fan has created an infographic that displays exactly who (or what) killed Kenny: all 225 times during the show's run.

A running gag throughout the first five seasons, the creatively wicked ways in which Kenny died at the end of each episode – only to be resurrected again and again – became a hallmark of the Comedy Central sitcom. But all was not well in the eponymous Colorado town – or rather, with South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. As Stone told the Knoxville News-Sentinel in 2002:

"['Kenny Dies'] was the one episode where [all the characters] cared [he was dying] for once. After that, we said, 'Why doesn't he just stay dead?' And it was like, 'OK, let's just do that.' It was that easy of a decision. I think a lot of people probably haven't noticed. I couldn't care less. I am so sick of that character."

Indeed, Parker and Stone got so sick of Kenny McCormick that they almost killed him off permanently at the end of the fifth season (to be fair, he more or less stayed dead for the majority of season 6).

Originally posted on Reddit, the infographic cites each and every death knell, including gems like "cooked in microwave by human clone of Stan," "head bitten off by Ozzie Osbourne," "drowning in urine," and, as per true South Park tradition, a lot of things that aren't exactly safe for work.
