He's one half of the Splash Brothers for a reason...and the splashing doesn't stop in the summer.
Fresh off his Golden State Warriors winning the NBA title, Klay Thompson is definitely enjoying the offseason. Proof was in his Instagram video Tuesday (August 11), when Thompson pedals a bicycle on a basketball court, hauls in a pass with his right hand and one-hand flicks it in from halfcourt. Now, this is the epitome of a circus shot, with the Internet agreeing, making the footage viral soon after Thompson posted it on his official Instagram account.
Coincidentally, the trick shot overshadowed a more important feat by Thompson's brother. That's because, on the same Tuesday, Chicago White Sox' Trayce Thompson hit his first Major League Baseball home run, taking Los Angeles Angels starter Hector Santiago out of the ballpark and helping his team to a 3-0 win.
Not only did Klay steal his brother's spotlight on the Internet, but Trayce also didn't receive any love in the White Sox dugout, as his teammates gave the rookie outfielder the silent treatment, continuing the baseball tradition for a player's first homer.
The best part of Klay's circus shot, though, was his caption, joking: "Working on being more versatile this offseason."
