Sony Pictures Announces Release Dates For Two 'Bad Boys' Sequels, 'Jumanji' Remake, 'The Dark Tower' Adaptation, And 13 Other Future Blockbusters

Only four more months before we usher in another year of resolutions, life changes and challenges and, best of all, a whole new year of exciting film releases.

Sony Pictures recently announced the dates for some highly anticipated film remakes and sequels: 16 blockbuster films have been scheduled for 2016, 2017 and 2019's theatrical release.

Bad Boys 3 is set to roll into theaters in 2017 while, in 2019, the story continues with Bad Boys 4. Fans who are excited to see the witty duo of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will have to wait for the studio's confirmation if both actors will reprise their roles for the film installments in the Bad Boy franchise.

Jodie Foster will once again take the director's seat for the movie Money Monster that stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, on the other hand, are sharing the screen for the sci-fi romance Passengers.

The remake of the film Ghostbusters will make fans scream with delight, while the saga between vampires and werewolves continues in Underworld 5. Also, fans of the Resident Evil franchise will finally get to see the next chapter of Alice's life as she battles Umbrella Corp. and finds a way to overcome the virus that turned the human race into zombies.
