You Can Now Preorder The Liquidmorphium Turing Phone

The Turing Phone, aiming to be one of the most secure smartphones to be ever released to the market, is now open for pre-orders through the Turing Robotics Industries' website for the device.

Customers looking to fall in line to acquire the device will not have to pay any amount yet. Signing up at the company's website will only put customers in the queue to be informed when Turing finally releases the Android 5.1 Lollipop-powered smartphone.

Upon clicking on the Reserve option in the Turing Phone's website, users are made to choose between three available color schemes for the Turing Phone. The first color scheme is named Beowulf, which features a mix of purple, black and textured gray. The second color scheme is named Pharaoh, which features a mix of red and blue. Lastly, the third color scheme is named Cardinal, which features a mix of red and white.

After choosing the color scheme, users are then given a choice between three storage capacities, with the website indicating the price for each model. The 16GB version will have a price tag of $610, the 64GB version will have a price tag of $740 and the 128GB version will have a price tag of $870.

The user will then be shown a page that requests for information including the user's full name, address, e-mail address and contact number. After filling up the blank spaces, users can then hit Reserve to send in their reservation for the Turing Phone.

Hands-on tests with the Turing Phone have elicited mixed reactions. While some users described the smartphone as a cool device, some users have expressed their disgust at the software interface of the Turing Phone that resembles Winamp. In addition, some users were unhappy with the lack of a standard USB port and a headphone jack for the Turing Phone.

These features are not the selling points of the Turing Phone though, as the makers of the device claim that the smartphone is unhackable, unbreakable and waterproof.

The Turing Phone is made out of liquidmorphium, a unique liquid metal alloy that is stronger than both steel and aluminum. The smartphone also has nano-coating for its internal components to make it waterproof.

The smartphone packs a Krait 2.5GH quad-core processor with a Turing Imitation Key Chipset, a 5.5-inch screen with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution and a 3,000 mAh battery.
