Xbox Live is doing very well for itself, according to the latest report. As it stands, there are over 100,000 achievements and 2.3 million Gamescore spanning the network since launch.
We should point out that this information came from TrueAchievements, and it is only linked to those who are members of the website. This means that the numbers are not accurate, but it gives us an idea of how well Xbox Live is performing right now.
The website claims that the Xbox 360 is the console most used by gamers to earn Achievements and Gamerscore, but that could be mainly due to the fact that the Xbox 360 is far more of a popular video game console when compared to the original Xbox.
When it comes down to the year gamers earned the most Achievements and Gamnerscore, the website stated that 2011 was more popular, although 2015 is projected to take the number one spot since more gamers are purchasing the Xbox One, and also because Halo 5: Guardians will launch before the end of the year.
Not only that, Forza 6 is coming, along with Rise of the Tomb Raider, which is an exclusive to the Xbox One for a full year. As it stands right now, Microsoft has several exclusive titles coming, along with the plethora of third-party video games.
At the moment, the Xbox Live user with the most Gamerscore is Stallion83. He has managed to earn over 1 million Gamerscore, and with that, he didn't have to purchase the Xbox One when it launched. He also gets some games for free.
Clearly, his hours of playing video games have paid off in some respect. Interestingly enough, though, this man has a family of his own.
Until Microsoft releases hard stats about what is truly happening on Xbox Live, we may never know and have to rely on information from TrueAchievements.
