Sprint Offers Family Share Pack: Four Lines With Unlimited Talk And Text, 10GB Data For $100 A Month

Sprint is back with a new Family Share Pack offer, and this time round the U.S. network operator is offering consumers four lines with 10GB of data and unlimited talk time and texts for $100 per month.

In February, we reported that Sprint had launched a Family Share Pack plan for $90, whereby consumers could avail unlimited talk time and texts, as well 12GB of shared data for up to 10 lines.

The carrier's current plan also aims to entice more consumers and fend off rivals T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Sprint's aggressive marketing gambit with $100 for the 10GB Family Share Pack plan is a step in that direction.

"With more data than T-Mobile, and with significant savings over Verizon and AT&T, the new Sprint Family Share Pack is the best family plan available," claimed the network operator.

The network operator reveals that by availing its Family Share Pack plan, users who are on Verizon and AT&T plans that offer 10GB data will save $480 and $720 in a year, respectively. Moreover, when compared to T-Mobile's 1GB for each line, Sprint's 10GB data offering is faster.

With data consumption by families seeing an increase, especially as users stream more videos on their handheld devices, Sprint's 10GB offer will likely find many takers. The carrier is also giving consumers the option to quadruple their Family Share Pack data. Subscribers simply need to shell out an additional $20 every month and avail of 40GB of high-speed data, as well as unlimited texts and talk time.

Sprint's promo starts on Friday, July 31, and is a limited-period offer. The pricing is not inclusive of taxes and surcharges.

The only downer about Sprint's current Family Share Pack offer is that it is valid for customers who are looking to make a switch from another carrier to Sprint. The network operator has evidently forgotten about its loyal customer base.

An edge rival carriers AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon have over Sprint is that their data plans enable users to make unlimited texts to not just domestic, but also international numbers. Other carriers also offer free cloud storage, a feature that is missing from Sprint's plan.
