GTA V Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC Money Glitch Allows Gamers To Duplicate Their Cars

Rockstar Games has already patched a number of money glitches in GTA V: Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC, but one scam still works.

The new Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC rolled out last week for the popular GTA V on PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and other platforms, and several glitches allowed players to get an unfair edge. Rockstar rolled out patch after patch trying to level the playing field and eliminate the glitches, but players can still exploit a money glitch to duplicate their cars. Another patch will surely roll out soon and maybe get the job done this time, but for now the scam still works, Christian Today points out.

First of all, to take advantage of this GTA V money glitch one must have nine cars stuffed in their GTA V garage, preferably the Unit 2 Popular St. Garage. One of those cars should be a duplicate of another (preferably a Benefactor Panto), and the player must leave the garage with it.

After driving out of the garage with the dupe, the player should blow up the car with a grenade, while the character is still in the vehicle. Once the character respawns, call Mors Mutual Insurance at once and an interactive window will appear on the left side of the screen. At this point, steal any car and drive it up to your garage door, holding down both the accelerator and brake simultaneously.

Release the brake, and immediately after that press the "X" button on the PS4 or the "A" button on the Xbox One. Timing is crucial here, otherwise the GTA V money glitch will not work. If you're fast enough, the insurance claim goes through and you'll have the stolen car into your garage and, after you head back to the GTA V job lobby to restock on grenades and buy some ammo, the duplicate car will be waiting for you on the street. Just drive the dupe car into your garage and you're all set.

This GTA V duplicate car money glitch works with the PS4 and Xbox One quite well, but it may be a bit trickier with the older PS3 and Xbox 360 as it reportedly works only from time to time. If you'd like to try it out, a YouTube user posted a comprehensive video to show just how this GTA V money glitch works with Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC. Check out the video shown.
