Comic Con 2015: DC Collectibles Announces New 'Batman: The Animated Series' Action Figures

It's Batman! Well, it is if Batman is a new DC collectible action figure from Batman: The Animated Series. And in this new video released by DC, we see that it's not just Batman getting an action figure, but also a lot of other characters from the hit animated television show.

Batman, The Animated Series originally ran on Fox in 1992 through 1995 and became a hit with fans and critics alike.

It became so popular that it also spawned three animated films: Batman: Mask of Phantasm, Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero and Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman.

There were even comic book adaptations and novels based on the series. The series still gets shown in syndication today and DVDs of the series still sell well.

Now, thanks to an announcement made in honor of San Diego Comic-Con, Batman: The Animated Series has its own line of action figures coming from DC Collectibles. And with that announcement came the following entertaining promotional video (with a surprise guest or two).

It seems the new Batman: The Animated Series collectibles line includes a lot of Batman villains, as well, including Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Two Face, Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin and more. There are also collectibles for Batman sidekicks Robin and Batgirl.

However, that's not all: DC Collectibles also plans on releasing the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series, too.

Mark your calendars, now: here are the release dates for all the collectibles, with the first set to hit the market in September.

For those attending this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, DC Collectibles also put together a handy list with a map of the convention floor of where you can find all their merchandise, including exclusives, available there. For those not attending, you can stay up to date with all of DC Collectibles' merchandise releases via the company's official Facebook page.
