iPad Air 2 Deal: 32GB Wi-Fi On Sale For $559

Walmart is offering Apple's 64GB Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 for $559, against Apple's $599 price tag. The retailer gives die-hard Apple fans some nice savings compared to Apple's price.

When Apple unveiled iOS 9 at WWDC 2015, the company showed off some pretty cool new features that will be making their way to iPads in the fall. Multitasking on the tablet will be much more enjoyable, thanks to new features like Slide Over, and exclusive to the iPad Air 2, Split View.

Slide Over is a new feature in iOS 9 that will allow iPad users to open a second application without ever leaving the one you're currently in. Simply drag your finger from the right side of the display to the middle to access Slide Over apps, which will allow you to have two apps open and displayed on one screen, letting you perform tasks, such as sending a text message while you're browsing in Safari, checking your calendar while reading email, and more.

Split View kicks things up a notch for iPad Air 2 owners, since it's exclusive to Apple's latest flagship iPad. Like Slide Over, you can have two applications open on the same screen but you can also allow each app to take up half of the display and be active at the same time. It's a less cramped experience when compared to Slide Over.

As previously mentioned, Split View will only work on the iPad Air 2 and if you've been considering purchasing Apple's latest and greatest iPad, a new deal from Walmart is worth checking out.

Walmart is currently selling the 64GB iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi in choice of Space Gray, Silver, or Gold for $559. This undercuts Apple's current price of $599 online and in retail stores.

The iPad Air 2 features a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 Retina Display with a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi). It ships with 64GB of internal storage and is powered by a 64-bit A8X chip and M8 motion coprocessor.

The tablet includes an 8-megapixel rear iSight camera and a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime HD camera. The tablet provides up to 10 hours of web browsing and has an embedded Touch ID sensor in its Home button that allows you to unlock the tablet and make purchases with Apple Pay.
