DeMarcus Cousins spoke his mind without saying a word.
Upon learning of rumored reports that he could be on the trading block, the Sacramento Kings' All-Star center took to his Twitter account on Monday night and used three emojis to give his complete thoughts about the team's head coach George Karl.
As one can see, "Boogie" Cousins is essentially calling Karl a snake in the grass, seemingly for praising him when he became the Kings head coach this past season and now reportedly wanting to ship him to the Los Angeles Lakers in a possible three-way trade deal with the Orlando Magic that could go down during the 2015 NBA Draft on Thursday night.
Kings vice president Vlade Divac denied rumors of Cousins—who is easily one of the top young talents in the NBA—being shopped around by the franchise, but where there's smoke, there's fire, so we'll see.
But ironically, this isn't the first time, an NBA player has used a "snake in the grass" to describe Karl, one of the league's all-time winningest coaches. Carmelo Anthony spelled it out via Twitter in February 2011 after Karl criticized the then-new acquisition of the New York Knicks and his play. Karl had coached Anthony with the Denver Nuggets.
What would be truly amazing is if Karl responds to Cousins using only emojis himself. Something like this, pointing out Cousins' hot temper would suffice.
