Dell Begins Accepting Preorders For Windows 10 Devices

Computing devices manufacturer Dell has started accepting preorders for specific products sporting the highly anticipated Windows 10 on its web store, according to a post in Direct2Dell, the official Dell corporate blog.

With the upcoming launch of Microsoft's Windows 10 on July 29, Dell will ship the preorders on the same day and with the company's Same Day Ship program. Lucky U.S. customers will be receiving their Windows 10-powered devices as early as July 30.

Dell Global Marketing Vice President Allison Dew also writes in Direct2Dell that the company works closely with Microsoft to maximize the features of the latest Windows 10 on Dell's future line of products.

The company says its engineers have optimized the high-resolution InfinityEdge screen with Microsoft Continuum to provide customers a great touch interface. Being long-time partners with Waves AudioMaxx, Dell computers continue to provide superior audio features and improved speech recognition for Microsoft's digital assistant Cortana.

Dew also ensures that Dell products have great support for Intel RealSense 3-D cameras so that users can use the advanced facial recognition software Windows Hello to log in instantly and securely to their computers. Dew also promises premium customer support for the company's hardware and software including Windows 10.

The desktops with Windows 10 include the Inspiron Desktop with Intel i3 processor, 1 TB of storage and 8 GB of RAM for $479.99, the Inspiron Desktop with Intel i5 processor, 1 TB of storage and 8 GB of RAM for $549.99, and the Intel i7 processor-powered XPS 8700 with 1 TB of storage and 8GB of RAM for $829.99.
