Sprint's Boost Mobile Wants To Help Cricket And MetroPCS Customers Save $20 To $30 A Month: Here's How

In a limited offer by Sprint's Boost Mobile, qualified customers can choose to bring their number over from Cricket or MetroPCS into Boost Mobile to receive unlimited data, text messages and calls with up to 2.5GB of 4G LTE data at monthly charges beginning at $20.

Boost Mobile, a subsidiary of Sprint, is offering Cricket and MetroPCS subscribers to reduce their monthly payments by $20 to $30 for a full year by moving over to Boost Mobile.

The offer is currently available, and will last until July 20.

Boost Mobile compared the promotion with what Cricket and MetroPCS customers are currently paying for and receiving. Cricket customers can get 2.5GB of monthly data for $40, 5GB of monthly data for $50 and 10GB of monthly data for $60. MetroPCS customers, on the other hand, can get 2GB of monthly data for $40 and 4GB of monthly data for $50.

Under Boost Mobile's Slash Your Payment in Half offer, customers can enjoy 2.5GB of monthly data for $20, 5GB of monthly data for $25 and 10GB of monthly data for $30.

The fine print of the promotion, however, states that not all Cricket and MetroPCS plans are eligible to be accepted into the offer. In addition, the discounts do not apply to all add-ons premium content, apps, additional lines and international services.

After the one-year period covered by the offer, customers that signed up for the promotion will be transferred to the plan under Boost Mobile that will offer them with a similar amount of data per month. Customers that decide to sign up with for automatic payments under the Auto Re-Boost feature can get unlimited text messages, calls and data with 2GB worth of high-speed data for a monthly charge of $30.

"Boost Mobile is committed to offering great value and the Slash Your Payment in Half promotion clearly demonstrates a new level of savings that Cricket and MetroPCS can't deliver," wrote Dow Draper, Sprint's president for wholesale and prepaid services.

Draper added that Boost Mobile is confident that due to the improvements in the performance of the company's network nationwide, plus the monthly savings presented by its service, customers that transferred to Boost Mobile from Cricket and MetroPCS will stay with Boost Mobile for the long term.
