Transparency is the word over at Spotify, who have posted their current stats over on their website in the wake of the release of Apple's new music-streaming enterprise, Apple Music.
The service was announced this past Monday at the 2015 Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC).
While CEO Daniel Ek's tweet in response to Apple's latest venture -- which can be measured as something between indifference and an eye-roll -- has since been deleted, Spotify's latest release can be classified more as a big "whatever, bro."
According to the post, Spotify counts 20 million subscribers and 75 million users among their ranks, the latter an 87% increase from the 40 million users it boasted last year.
In addition to this, Spotify claims to have shelled out more than $3 billion dollars in royalties, which inherently counters their reputation of doling out low royalty payments.
Apple Music is set to launch on June 30 of this month. Daniel Ek probably still won't be impressed.
