JAKKS Pacific Will Create And Sell 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Toys

Warner Bros is making moves to push Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice toys in 2016, which is why the company has partnered with JAKKS Pacific to bring these toys to store shelves.

According to JAKKS Pacific, the deal includes an international and domestic renewal of the entire DC Comic franchise. This means that JAKKS Pacific will be the guys behind toys for Suicide Squad and other DC films in the years to come.

As for Batman v Superman, fans should expect to see toys ranging from vehicles, large-scale action figures, wagons and more. Furthermore, accessories and video games are also in the mix, though we doubt these video games will be anything but cheap titles designed for mobile phones and the web.

The toys are expected to go on sale in the spring of 2016, around the same time the Batman v Superman movie hits theaters in the United States and around the world.

"We could not be more excited to be part of the eagerly awaited Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice franchise and welcome the opportunity to bring to life two of the most epic Super Heroes of all time," said John Blaney, Executive Vice President of Marketing, JAKKS Pacific. "We look forward to continuing our legacy of creating innovative and character-specific toys for the DC Comics line, especially in our highly detailed and collectible Big Figures line."

The toys are expected to be very profitable since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would be the first time fans get to see both heroes in a film together. This was set to happen with George Miller's now dead Justice League: Mortals, but as fate would have it, it did not occur. Now it is Zack Snyder who will make history, and it will either go down as a great moment or a dark one for DC.

We will know for sure when the movie hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
