Xbox Japan has seemingly accidentally posted the first official screen shots with informative captions of the highly-anticipated Turn 10's racing simulation game Forza Motorsport 6 ahead of its expected formal introduction at Microsoft's E3 press conference on June 15, 2015.
Xbox Japan immediately shut down the webpage, but as always, the Internet was fast to capture the details.
As expected, Forza Motorsport 6 will feature the cutting-edge ForzaTech engine to power the unrelenting action and breathtaking visual graphics at 1080-pixel resolution and 60 frames per second gameplay. It also boasts having the most cars of any racing game in this generation, according to the website.
Turn 10 has definitely been listening to gamers' comments about Forza Motorsport 5's shortage of content, as the next version will feature over 450 flawlessly-recreated cars immediately playable from its launch in the most comprehensive racing game the company has created. All customizable cars will have full damage modeling and complete working cockpits, as requested by fans. The website also promised that the game would incorporate wet weather, night racing and 3D puddles in testing drivers' skills with state-of-the-art physics, making the simulation as real as possible.
To make it more real, the Forza Motorsport driver will be able to tour 26 tracks located in world-famous racing places that include Rio and Daytona Speedway. Players will never drive alone as the game offers up to 24-player racing with the returning signature Drivatar system. The simulation game will also sport a two-player split-screen mode, much to drivers' delights.
These intriguing details and more will probably be confirmed next week at the E3 Conference. Forza Motorsport 6 on Xbox One was initially introduced alongside Ford's announcement of its GT supercar, which is the cover car of the latest franchise of Forza Motorsport. Other Ford vehicles, such as GT350 Mustang and F-150 Raptor, will also be featured in the game.
In February, Aaron Greenburg, Microsoft's director of marketing for Xbox, announced that Forza Motorsport 6, which will be an Xbox One exclusive, is expected to be released to stores this holiday season along with other Xbox One titles such as Fable Legends, Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
