The wearable market is growing rapidly, and Samsung has a number of wearables to suit various needs of individual customers.
While some wearables are mainly meant to track the fitness of the wearer, such as the Gear Fit, others act as a smartwatch and provide fitness tracking and other features as well.

Operating System
The Gear S, Gear 2 and the Gear Live are all smartwatches and need an operating system for better interaction with the users. The Gear S and the Gear 2 run on Tizen, while the Gear Live runs of Android Wear operating system. The Gear Fit has a proprietary real-time operating system (RTOS).

Bluetooth connectivity is available in all four Samsung wearables. However, Gear S is the only one that comes with WI-Fi and USB connectivity options.
The Gear S is the only device out of the four Samsung wearable that allows a SIM card to be inserted in it and get 3G data without the need of a phone.
Battery
Samsung has included a 300 mAh battery in the Gear S, Gear 2 and Gear Live. However, the Gear Fit is powered by a smaller 210 mAh battery.
Processor
The Gear Fit has a 1.2MHz ARM Cortex M4 processor.
The Samsung Gear S and the Gear 2 are powered by a dual-core processor and the Gear Live has a faster quad-core processor.
Notifications
All the four Samsung wearables have the ability to notify its user about an incoming email, SMS/Text and incoming call on the paired smartphone.
Water Resistance
All the four wearables offer IP67 water resistance, which means that they can sit in one meter, or about 3.3 feet, water for 30 minutes without any damages.
Other Features
All the four Samsung wearables show time, monitor heart rate and sleeping patterns of their users. Apart from the Gear Live, the rest also has vibrating alarm feature.

Samsung's official website in the U.S. is offering the Gear Fit for $149.99, the Gear Live is available for $199.99 and the Gear 2 for $299.99. AT&T is offering the Gear S for $299.99 without any contract.
People who are looking just for a fitness tracker can opt for the Gear Fit, which does not have many other features when compared to the Gear S, Gear 2 and Gear Live.
Customers who want to buy a smartwatch that has a big display, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity and the option to use a SIM may purchase the Gear S.
Gear 2 is the only one to have a camera, so customers who want to have a camera in their smartwatch may prefer the Gear 2 than the other three wearables.
The Gear Live is the most cost effective wearable out of the four, which may attract many first time buyers.
