Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is filming right now, and fans have gotten the first look of Bebop and Rocksteady, along with the new Shredder and his daughter, Karai.
Everyone on set looks the part, but some folks might find Bebop and Rocksteady a little off since they are in human form instead of looking like a mutated warthog and rhinoceros. We should point out that before they were mutated, Bebop and Rocksteady were humans.
We're guessing that before the movie comes to an end, both villains will go under the mutation procedure to become the iconic Ninja Turtles villains everyone has come to know and love over the years.
We like the fact that Rocksteady is wearing his iconic purple Mohawk, along with the nose ring tacked to his nose. What's missing right now are the dark sunglasses, but we're guessing they will be added soon enough.
Serious fans of the Ninja Turtles know how dangerous Bebop and Rocksteady are. Both villains killed one of the Turtles in a recent comic, and it took everyone by surprise. The writers were brave enough to go there, and in turn, it made for a better comic and managed to garner new interest in an industry dominated by DC and Marvel.
When it comes down to the new Shredder, he is seen in an all-black suit, the same as his daughter, though her suit has a line of red. Folks should not expect to see Shredder in his battle armor on the set since, for the most part, it is CGI.
At the end of the day, we can only hope the movie is better than the first one. It made a lot of money, but critics were smashing it all over the wall. Hopefully, the director and producers will look into what went wrong with the first movie and implement changes in the second.
We should point out that Arrow front man Steven Amell is on board as Casey Jones, hero and April O'Neil's love interest.
