Since signing up for his official Twitter account (@POTUS) last week, President Obama is definitely warming up to the social media juggernaut.
On Thursday, the Commander-in-Chief even held court with his followers via a live Twitter Q&A, inviting them to ask him any questions on their minds. Of course, it didn't take long for sports questions to be tweeted President Obama's way in 140 characters or less. When they did, the president and huge sports fan was more than ready with answers.
When asked if Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard J.R. Smith could outshoot NBA MVP and Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, Obama broke down his hoops knowledge and flat out cast no doubts on Curry.
.@NathenVieira jr smith having a great season but the heart of the Cavs is Lebron. And no one can outshoot Curry - maybe Korver if wide open

He wasn't done answering followers' sports questions, though. When another follower asked him what he thought about Thursday's news of Obama's hometown favorite Chicago Bulls firing head coach Tom Thibodeau, the President showed Thibs a lot of love for his effort over the past five seasons.
.@apat246 @chicagobulls love thibs and think he did a great job. Sorry to see him go but expect he will be snatched up soon by another team. — President Obama (@POTUS) May 28, 2015
All in a modern president's day's work.
