Did one upcoming Raw venue just spill the beans on Brock Lesnar's return to the WWE?
It sure seems that way, with Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the NBA's Indiana Pacers, taking to their Twitter account on Thursday to announce Lesnar's return for a June 22 episode of Raw. Get WWE security on deck.
The WWE hasn't been the same without one of the most destructive forces it has ever seen. After Seth Rollins used his Money in the Bank briefcase to interfere in Lesnar and Roman Reigns's Wrestlemania 31 main event matchup and capture Brock's World Heavyweight title, the hulking superstar was basically written off in storylines the next night on Raw back on March 30.
That's when Brock thrashed the Raw announce team, including Michael Cole and Booker T, and was suspended by Stephanie McMahon. Boy did Cole get obliterated by the F-5 that night...to the WWE Universe's sheer delight. Take a look back at that havoc below.
If Lesnar's return will indeed be June 22, the question is, who will he set in his sights and target first? Rollins would be a logical choice, being that he made off with Lesnar's title months back. Or does Brock still have unfinished business with Reigns?
Whatever it is, Brock's return, with Paul Heyman by his side, should make for an instantly better viewing experience. That and a high body count. Get your popcorn ready.
