If you're a fan of Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update," then this is the collectors item for you. Action figures of comedic duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be available for purchase exclusively at San Diego's Comic-Con 2015.
Having your own action figure is one of the surest signs to know you've made it in Hollywood. And both Fey and Poehler are being honored for their time on the iconic late-night TV show by being made into news anchor figurines.
The dolls are 3.5 inches each and feature the ladies in professional pantsuits suitable for the serious(ly funny) news anchors they were. And don't worry about having to pick between the two. Rather than being sold separately, Fey and Poehler come together in the box — further proof that they're the perfect team.
The set also comes with a fold-out "Weekend Update" diorama desk, so you can write your own hilarious news scripts and jokes.
You can buy the Fey and Poehler "Weekend Update" action figures at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2342 at San Diego Comic-Con this year; however, only 2,4000 will be available.
Those who can't make it to Comic-Con from July 8-12 can pre-order the action figures now for a limited time, but they won't be delivered until the end of July, and only if supplies last beyond the show.
The action figures are manufactured by toy company Bif Bang Pow! — the same company behind the Seth Meyers bobblehead.
"Last year, our Seth Meyers Weekend Update Bobble Head was well received," Bif Bang Pow! told E! News. "So we wanted to continue with bringing fans more Weekend Update products."
And we can't help but think that the comedic ladies look like superheroes, with the ability to protect the world from bad jokes and anti-feminists.
The SNL "Weekend Update" Tina Fey and Amy Poehler action figures retail for $29.99.
