11-Year-Old Boy Graduates From College Not With One But With Three Degrees

Tanishq Abraham, with his exceptionally high levels of IQ at only 11 years old, has graduated from the American River College in Sacramento, California, not just with one degree, but with three degrees.

Abraham was enrolled in the school for only one year, but he was able to graduate with three associate degrees in the fields of general sciences, math and physical sciences and foreign language studies.

The child prodigy was able to accomplish the feat by taking up college courses while in high school, from which he graduated only last year at 10 years old.

"Awesome feeling - completed my first baby steps to my BIG goal," tweeted Abraham.

For most people, "baby steps" is not what they would call the achievement of receiving three associate degrees, but that is what the feat apparently is for the 11-year-old.

Abraham is planning to become a doctor and a medical researcher and win a Nobel Prize, before running for the presidency of the United States.

During his graduation, Abraham told a local news channel that the accomplishments that he made were fueled by his pure passion for learning.

Abraham made the headlines last year upon his graduation from high school. Even President Barack Obama sent the boy a letter of congratulations after being one of the youngest ever to graduate from high school.

At four years old, Abraham became one of the youngest members of high IQ society Mensa. At seven years old, Abraham started home schooling with his parents, as the boy began expressing boredom with what he was taking up in grade school.

"We did it as a family, it was a lot of teamwork," said his mother, Taji Abraham, regarding the efforts in home schooling the child prodigy.

Abraham's parents are still concerned, however, with his father Bijou Abraham expressing worry because they have heard that gifted children grow up to have emotional issues such as depression.

The boy's mother, however, said that Abraham can choose whatever he wants to do, as long as he remains happy.

As Abraham was fulfilling his requirements to pass high school, he was already taking up college courses, completing 42 credits upon his graduation from high school.

Abraham is now planning to acquire a bachelor's degree.
