Several new dramas, sitcoms and thrillers vie with each other for the audience's attention as cable channels battle it out to generate the maximum Television Rating Points (TRPs).
Some shows fall by the wayside, while some continue to churn out the revenue for the TV network.
One notable cancellation is that of Constantine, which had even spawned the Twitter hashtag #SaveConstantine among fans. While NBC has called it quits, however, Warner Bros.' search for a new home for the series continues.
Both NBC and CBS have axed some shows, perhaps in a bid to clean up their lineup in time for spring. These programs invariably get replaced by new shows that try to capture the mind and attention of people—until, of course, it's time to bid adieu either on their own accord or forcibly.
