We watched Sam Smith dominate the Grammys in February, and we've still got a few months before the MTV Video Music Awards hits us with all of its craziness. But in case you're hankering for a music awards show right this very minute, you're in luck because there's one airing Sunday.
Oh yes, the 2015 Billboard Music Awards are rolling into town Sunday night, and this one might be one of the biggest in years. Why, you ask? You should already know the answer to that.
Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen will be co-hosting the festivities. We'll see Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea share the stage for the TV debut performance of their new single "Pretty Girls." Taylor Swift will premiere her highly anticipated music video for "Bad Blood" during the telecast, for which she has been rolling out posters over the past couple of weeks featuring the video's stars, including Karlie Kloss, Kendrick Lamar and Lena Dunham.
It's sure to be a night to remember. With all of that packed into one show, reading the headlines or watching clips of the awards show on YouTube the next day probably isn't going to cut it. You're going to want to see this stuff live as it happens.
Just like everyone has their own favorite way of listening to music these days, there are a variety of ways to catch the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, whether you have a TV or not. Find which one works best for you, and let the music play.
On TV
In case you're not able to see the 2015 Billboard Music Awards IRL in Las Vegas on Sunday, you can still watch it all from afar when it airs live on ABC at 8 p.m. EST. You can bet on that.
Online
Just because the Billboard Music Awards is airing on a broadcast network doesn't mean you have to be in front of a TV to catch the show. We have the technology, people. ABC livestreams all of its programming on its website, so you can watch the Billboard Music Awards at no extra charge — if you have a log-in for a cable provider, that is. If you've got the right stuff, you can just head over to the "Watch Live" section of ABC's official website and plug in your subscriber information. Many cable providers also allow you to livestream ABC from their websites, but again, you have to actually have cable to access them.
However, you can livestream everything that goes down on the red carpet for free by heading over to Yahoo Live at 6 p.m. EST. Don't we all watch awards shows just to gawk at celebrities' outlandish outfits and behavior anyway?
On Your Phone
You can watch the Billboard Music Awards on the go through the Watch ABC app, which also requires a cable provider log-in. And just like online, some cable providers also have their own apps that allow you to watch ABC on mobile devices. Those who see you watching the "Bad Blood" music video will wish they could be so lucky.
