The wait is finally over. Fans can now enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe again in the highly-anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was released in theaters today.
The sequel to the 2012 movie brings back the team of our favorite heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow. The Marvel film is sure to be packed with action, funny one-liners, and how can we not mention Scarlett Johansson in leather and Chris Hemsworth with those piercing blue eyes?
It's hard to choose just one favorite superhero, but what if you had the choice to be saved from the villainous Ultron by just one of them? Hulk is the strongest, but then again Thor is a god. Iron Man has the best tech, but Hawkeye is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Black Widow is probably the best spy, but Scarlet Witch has super powers like telekinesis. Captain America is the OG superhero, but Quicksilver has super speed.
Can't we just pick them all? While we hope if the world was ending, the entire Avengers team will come to save the day. But if Marvel fans had to pick one hero to save them, there are clear winners for men and women.
Fandango conducted a poll asking several thousand ticket-holders of Avengers: Age of Ultron which Avenger they would want to rescue them from the threat of any kind of danger.
According to the poll, men want Black Widow to save them, whereas woman are all for Captain America.
How can any man resist the redhead with some killer curves? 28 percent of men are happy to have Black Widow come rescue them, followed by 23 percent who opt for Iron Man, and Captain America the third choice with 20 percent. Sadly, Hawkeye came in last with only five percent for men.
Women just can't resist Captain America's charm.
29 percent of the ladies want the red, white, and blue save them, followed by 26 percent who rather see Thor at their doorsteps. Iron Man ranks number three among women with 21 percent, and 11 percent rather go for girl power and have Black Widow save the day. Hawkeye ranks fifth for the ladies with nine percent, followed by the Hulk with just four percent.
Apparently, Hawkeye is not the most popular Avenger, but we still appreciate him anyway.
At least we get to see all six Avengers, including newcomers and guest appearances from others, all on the big screen in Avengers: Age of Ultron out in theaters today.
