Suicide Squad: Revealed Joker Image Is Not The Real Deal Claims Report

Since David Ayer and Warner Bros. dropped the image of Jared Leto as the Joker, the Internet lit up with fire from fans who were not in support of how the character would look in Suicide Squad. However, new reports claim that the image is not exactly the real deal.

Sources claim Jared Leto is sporting a different look on set. His skin has no tattoos, and there are no grills in his mouth. Apparently, his skin is covered in scars, presumably those he received from facing off against the Batman.

In addition, the source claims that Jared Leto's real Joker look has a skin tone that is whiter than what was initially shown.

"According to our source, the Joker image everybody is talking about isn't a genuine image and doesn't match up with how he looks on set. He's missing scars (which we reported on a while back as mementos from his history with Batman) and the grill/teeth are a kind of WTF addition to the image. Our source elaborates that he's scarred on his back and arms and his skin is definitely whiter than what we see below. The tattoos are brand new if even real, and may have been added to cover up the areas where his scars will be."

The big question right now is why would Warner Bros. deceive its fanbase? Well, the released image could just be for the purpose of celebrating the Joker's 75th anniversary as we suspected, or maybe the studio realizes how much bad press it is getting on the Internet and chose to run with it.

Causing fans to go into an uproar then surprise them later is a trick used by many several times before, so maybe Warner believes it needs to ride the wave of bad in order to slip back into the driving seat.

At the end of the day, we can only hope the Joker is not a tattooed freak with "Damaged" marked on his forehead.
