Quick, name all of the Avengers in Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Think you got them all? Did you remember Hawkeye? I didn't think so.
Poor Hawkeye. He always seems to be the forgotten Avenger. But when you're a part of a super-duper superhero group like the Avengers that boasts such members as Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk, it's certainly hard to stand out and get noticed.
But Hawkeye is tired of playing second fiddle to these other superheroes and not getting nearly as much credit for taking down bad guys and helping to save the world. Heroes have feelings too, you know.
In order to rectify this situation, Hawkeye appeared on Tuesday night's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, in the form of Jeremy Renner, of course, and sang a very special rendition of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." Hawkeye turned this hit love song into a defense of his character, showing why he's just as awesome as Thor or Black Widow.
Not only did Hawkeye assert that his powers are just as cool as his fellow Avengers', but we also learned a lot about the superhero that makes him just a pretty great guy in general. He has a collection of scarves and berets, he once butt-dialed Jean-Claude Van Damme and gets free guac at Chipotle. If all of that is not super, I just don't know what is.
We also learn that Hawkeye hasn't lost his virginity yet, which I only bring up because Chris Evans recently told Entertainment Weekly that he wonders if Captain America is a virgin. I think we all guessed that Tony Stark was the only Avenger getting some anyway.
Check out Hawkeye's full performance below, and you won't forget his name ever again.
