Hulu May 2015: Get Ready To Stream Your Favorite Adult Swim And Cartoon Network Shows

If you're a fan of animated series, you're going to be very, very excited about this news.

Hulu just signed a big multi-year agreement with Turner Broadcasting. That means you'll be able to stream a bunch of your favorite shows from Adult Swim and Cartoon Network exclusively on Hulu starting May 1.

Gone are the days when you were relegated to watching your favorite Adult Swim and Cartoon Network shows as they aired on TV or after you built up the strength to navigate the networks' respective websites for full episodes. For the first time ever, you'll be able to stream full seasons of Adult Swim shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken and The Venture Bros., as well as Cartoon Network faves like Adventure Time, Dexter's Laboratory and Ben 10 all in one convenient, little portal called Hulu.

And if live-action series are more your bag, Hulu will have you covered there too. The online video streaming platform is also getting the exclusive SVOD rights to TNT's The Last Ship and Murder in the First. In this agreement, Hulu will also receive exclusive SVOD rights to certain future shows on Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, TBS and TNT as they premiere on the networks over the next few years. This includes the upcoming TBS comedy Angie Tribeca created by Steve and Nancy Carell and starring Rashida Jones, which will be available after its full-season run on TBS.

"The addition of multiple titles from Cartoon Network represents a significant step forward in continuing to build a strong programming offering for the kids audience on Hulu," said Hulu's Senior Vice President and Head of Content Craig Erwich in a statement. "The adult animation series from Adult Swim, as well as the additional series from TNT and TBS, are a perfect addition to our current offering."

This is definitely a coup for Hulu, which is seeing steep competition these days from Netflix and Amazon in terms of both original series and the new content offered each month. While Hulu hasn't yet achieved quite the same level of success and prestige as those other two streaming services, an agreement like this one shows that it has just begun to fight.

Here's the full breakdown of the new Turner Broadcasting titles coming to Hulu:

- Adult Swim: Rick and Morty; Black Jesus; NTSF:SD:SUV; Aqua Teen Hunger Force; Robot Chicken; The Venture Bros.; Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!; Sealab 2021

- Cartoon Network: The Amazing World of Gumball; Steven Universe; Over the Garden Wall and Clarence; Dexter's Laboratory; Ben 10; Adventure Time; Regular Show; The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
