Your Google search history is like your early Facebook photos. They tell a story of your digital life and they're what make you you, but if they ever saw the light of day, you would be completely mortified.
Well, now you don't have to worry about any of that with this simple hack to access your entire Google search history and delete some things in the process.
If you're logged into Google, you can download your entire saved search history. All you have to do is navigate to your Web History page, click on the little gear icon in the top right-hand corner, select "Download" and click "Create Archive." Your entire saved search history will download to your Takeout Folder in Google Drive. You can then download the files to your computer if you so desire.
Google started testing this feature out last year, but it is now available for all users, according to the unofficial Google news and tips blog Google Operating System. Similarly, you can also export all of your tweets in a .zip file, in case you'd like to check them out and delete a couple of them too.
After you download your search history, why not take a look around? You're sure to be reminded of your holiday shopping from 2012, all of those times you checked out your blind dates before meeting them and the many times you asked Dr. Google what the deal was with your weird-looking rash.
On second thought, maybe this would be a good opportunity to do some housekeeping. Lucky for you, deleting some of your search history is just as easy as looking through it. On that same Web History page, you can either select individual search terms to remove or you can click on that gear icon again and select "Remove Items." If you go with that latter option, a window will pop up, allowing you to do a mass removal of search terms from the past hour, day, week, four weeks or the beginning of time, for those who really need to purge their search histories. You know who you are.
