Palo Alto man surrenders himself after Googling himself and finding that he's on the most wanted list

Searching the Internet for your name usually leads you to Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks that you have joined over the years. If you're a popular person, you might pop up across various websites. However, when Christopher Viatafa googled his name, he was in for a shock.

Viatafa is one of those guys; he's wanted by the police but for some reason, he doesn't know it. Still, Viatafa would eventually find out he's on the "Most Wanted" list in California after simply searching for his name on Google.

We're guessing he wasn't expecting what he came across, because no one would, unless they already have an idea of themselves being wanted by the cops. We bet Viatafa was hoping to see his pictures pop up in Google search, probably well prepared to stroke his ego among his friends and family, or even hoping he would pop up as the long lost brother of Leonardo DiCaprio.

Well, he may not be the long lost brother of DiCaprio, but they both share something in common, and that is being hounded by bad luck. DiCaprio is being hounded by bad luck for not winning a single Oscar even after acting in over 30 movies, while Viatafa found out he's a wanted man on the Most Wanted list. Imagine his face and the thoughts going through his mind when reality sinks in deeply.

Apparently, Palo Alto police had Christopher Viatafa on the Most Wanted list after he allegedly fired a weapon into the ground at a private party at the San Leandro Senior Center on East 14th Street back in August of 2013. According to police officers, he got into an argument, pulled his weapon, and unloaded several rounds into the ground.

After being forced out of the area, Viatafa didn't leave until he fired some more rounds. Luckily, no one was hit, but that didn't stop police officers from seeking him out and adding his mugshot to Northern California's Most Wanted website.

Right now, Viatafa might be feeling relieved that he came up with that wonderful idea to search his name through the Internet, because his fate could have turned out a lot worse if the cops had found him first.

As of now, Viatafa is still on Northern California's Most Wanted list but as 'captured.'
