The years have been kind to that terror sitting at the top of the lists awaiting Kombatants, Goro. The four-armed menace, half man and half dragon, is just as commanding and creepy as ever in his latest Mortal Kombat X trailer.
Johnny Cage hasn't lost his bravado, made apparent in previous trailers and on display in the latest one as he tells Goro the chimera is heading for another fall. It's a reference to the movie, in which Johnny Cage delivers a shot to Goro's gonads and then kicks him over the edge of a cliff.
"How, exactly," states Goro in response to Johnny Cage. That's a really good question, seeing that Johnny Cage and his $500 sunglasses are shoved down into his chest cavity. Well, check out the trailer below:
Mortal Kombat X developer NetherRealm revealed that Goro will be available as a pre-order bonus for the upcoming game. For those not wanting to deal with day one this and day one that, the brute will also available to everyone via the game's DLC.
For those still hungry for more ground pounding and punch walking, check out 13 minutes of Goro gamplay in the video below:

A companion app for the game are scheduled to launch alongside the core game, while PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are slated for the summer of 2015.
The companion app will enable players to unlock costumes for the core version of the game. It'll provide some high-fidelity X-Ray shots of bones breaking, as well the gore of the core game's fatalities.
Gameplay of the companion app resembles that of the mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us, a title that was also developed by NetherRealm. Players will execute fatalities through swipes and taps.
