While we all love the show's cast of characters, half of the fun in watching AMC's The Walking Dead is seeing what creative ways to kill zombies (and people) showrunners can come up with next.
This season didn't disappoint in that regard. From the opening moments of season five, we had brutal throat slitting and a giant shootout as Rick and the gang escaped Terminus.
And it only got more violent from there.
If you need a refresher, look no further than this supercut of every death in The Walking Dead's fifth season from The Cinema Nut. Each death consists of a couple seconds worth of footage.
Combined, it makes up seven minutes of pure carnage that is honestly a little difficult to watch all the way through.
If you have yet to finish watching season five of the show, you might want to avoid watching the video. Or you could just do it anyways. Come on, it will be fun!
The kill count is definitely well into the hundreds, though this video would benefit enormously from a counter on the side keeping track. Most of the deaths are quick and efficient, a quick knife through the head here, a crossbow bolt between the eyes there. Rick and company are well versed in the art of zombie slaying by this point, so it's no surprise that they can cut their way through a group of walkers in a matter of seconds.
Then you have the car scene, where a lone vehicle plows over walker after walker, blood nearly completely covering the windshield. Automatic weapons help to ramp up the kill count as well. Just line 'em up and pull the trigger.
But out of all of these gruesome slayings, there is one that is far and away my favorite: death by model jet.
It doesn't get much better than that.
