Uh-oh...Samsung spokesman LeBron James tweets epic Galaxy Note failure

The gods in the global headquarters of Samsung must have gone crazy when they saw today's king of basketball tweet about his smartphone.

Miami Heat star LeBron James, a Samsung celebrity endorser, was not able to hold his emotions and tweeted via his @KingJames account that he has gone through a mobile device emergency.

"My phone just erased everything it had in it and rebooted. One of the sickest feelings I've ever had in my life!!!" James tweeted on March 12 5:03 p.m. The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player has been an endorser of the South Korean brand after it launched the Galaxy Note II and has at least 12 million followers on Twitter.

Three exclamation points, 518 retweets, 1,108 favorites after, the post on the microblogging site was deleted.

James must have realized that the executives of Samsung who had him signed a multimillion deal for the brand are struggling to pick up their jaws from the ground. Quick as he is on the court, he tried to pick up his game and posted some follow up tweets just like when he hits consecutive treys and slam dunks. "#WhyMeFaceRightNow #SMH," one tweet read.

"Anyway focus on this game! #StriveForGreatness #WitnessHistory," he posted next.

"Close call. Whew! Got all my info back. Gamer! Lol," James winked his way out of trouble.

As of June last year, the 29-year-old basketball superstar has earned $60 million according to Forbes. In addition to his basketball earnings, he is also an endorser for some of the biggest global brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Samsung, McDonald's, among others. Appearing in TV advertisements and billboards for a brand might not necessarily make a product part of an endorser's everyday life. James is not the only one who has faltered, others such as host Ellen DeGeneres, multi-awarded singer Alicia Keys, and football legend David Beckham have created some controversies themselves.

While she hosted the Oscars, DeGeneres made sure Samsung took the spotlight but reports surfaced that she was using another brand of mobile device behind the scenes. Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac who spotted the incident tweeted his spot on observation. "Minutes after promoting Samsung on the #Oscars stage, Ellen returns to her iPhone. Incredible...," Gurman tweeted.

Meanwhile, Beckham signed a contract with Samsung but was seen during the Super Bowl taking an iPhone out of his pocket. Alicia Keys must have also been not herself as a BlackBerry celebrity endorser when she tweeted using an iPhone.

Hmm... must be the money behind the contract, not totally their belief in the quality of the products, that convince these stars to "just do it."
