Samsung has created a dedicated page where prospective buyers of its new smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, can find a store near them to preview or preorder the devices.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are set to be released on April 10, and so far, the company has received positive tremendous response to its new handsets. Since their introduction on March 1, consumers have been highly anticipating when they could get their hands on one of the phones and experience the new designs directly.
Preorders began for the phones on March 27, at Sprint, T Mobile, AT&T, U.S. Cellular and Best Buy. Verizon is the only carrier not currently accepting preorders, having previously announced a preorder date of April 1. While two-year contract pricing is similar across the carriers, starting at $199, Verizon requires a $50 mail in rebate in order for customers to receive the $199 pricing.
Buyers can now preview the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge at select Sprint, T Mobile, AT&T and U.S. Cellular carrier stores, along with Best Buy stores that have Samsung Experience stores within their facilities. The Samsung Experience stores are a separate Samsung area within some Best Buys that offer the Samsung product line and have specially trained employees who know more about Samsung products than a typical Best Buy employee. It's basically Samsung's version of an Apple Store, located within Best Buy.
To find a location near you where you can preview the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, first go to Samsung's dedicated page, set up specifically for that purpose. Enter your zip code, carrier of choice (or "all carriers" if you don't currently have a preference) and a radius from your current location to limit search results. The finder tool will then display all the locations in your area where you can currently get a hands-on preview of Samsung's latest flagship smartphones.
Note that Verizon is not yet listed as an option but should be added to the tool by April 1, when preorders begin at the carrier. If you've already decided to take the plunge and purchase one of Samsung's new smartphones, the Samsung preview locator page will also direct you to preorder details for the carrier of your choice.
