The McDonald's Big Mac Shop Lets You Wear Your Favorite Fast Food Anywhere

Say what you want about McDonald's and how appetizing its food looks, but it doesn't look like there's something undeniably iconic about the Big Mac. Now McDonald's has launched something for those who just can't get enough of its signature menu item.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Big Mac Shop. No, this isn't an online store dedicated solely to the sale of a sandwich with two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. The Big Mac is not just a food anymore. It's a lifestyle.

The Big Mac Shop sells pretty much anything you could slap a photo of a Big Mac on. You've got your thermal for those cold winter nights and bedding and wallpaper so you can deck out your entire room in this beloved burger. Pretty soon, you'll also be able to wear a raincoat and wellies so inclement weather can't even stop you from shouting your love for the Big Mac from the rooftops. Your dog will even be able to get in on the action too.

McDonald's launched the Big Mac Shop with, what else, a "McWalk" fashion show in Stockholm, Sweden. The "McWalk" was part of 24 hours of craziness for McDonald's as the fast food chain organized a bunch of publicity stunts around the world for its "imlovinit24" promotion. This included a performance from Ne-Yo in Los Angeles, a ball pit in Sydney and a pajama party in Milan.

This kitschy campaign came just on the heels of a pretty explicit attack on McDonald's from Taco Bell, so the fast food burger chain probably really wants you to associate it with good vibes again. What better way to do that than with hamburger haute couture?

However, food-patterned clothing is nothing new. In fact, it's pretty much a staple of hipster fashion these days. Beyonce, Katy Perry and Cara Delevingne have all been spotted in pizza-patterned clothes. If McDonald's wanted to take the Big Mac Shop global, I'm sure it would have a big, fat, juicy hit on its hands.
