HBO's hit series Game of Thrones is filled with blood, gore, boobs and foul language — not exactly teen-friendly material.
However, since when did a few boobs or a decapitation or two stop curious teenagers from watching one of the best shows on television? Never, that's when.
The show's adult content definitely didn't stop the vast majority of teens in the latest React video from TheFineBros from becoming obsessed with George R.R. Martin's fantasy world.
The teens are first shown the season five trailer for the show before being presented with pictures of the show's cast of characters.
Most teens are instantly familiar with the HBO's saga of swords and sorcery and know every character by name, but there are a few who are in the dark. Several girls say the show doesn't interest them, while one boy refuses to watch the show because of its "softcore porn" nature.
Despite this, the kid seems to know every character and event from the last four seasons, so perhaps he just watches in secret?
Regardless, most of the teens are know these characters forwards and backwards. Daenarys and Tyrion are fan favorites, while the vast majority completely loathe Cersei, which sounds about right. One of the funniest moments come from the teens who aren't familar with the show. When presented with Jaime Lannister, two of the girls who haven't watched Game of Thrones say he "looks like Prince Charming." What do they think about Joffrey? You can probably guess. Aside from one girl who doesn't watch the show saying he's "cute," everybody else despises him.
Most of the kids don't seem too thrilled about the show surpassing the books either. Sticking close to the source material seems to be what most of the kids would prefer, even if they haven't read the books. More than a few are shocked the learn that the books are actually older than they are — the first book in Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga, titled Game of Thrones, was released in 1996.
