You Can't Beat Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Lip-Syncing Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' [Video]

Action hero and wrestling superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson proved once again that he has all the right moves when he lip-synced Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off." A video of his performance was posted on his Instagram account.

The lip-syncing stint is part of the lip-sync battle show aptly called "Lip Sync Battle," with LL Cool J as host. The show is the feature-length version of challenges on the popular "Tonight Show," which is hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

The first episode of the show will feature The Rock lip-syncing "Shake It Off," a hit song by Taylor Swift.

"LipSyncBattle OF ALL Lip Sync Battles ... Channelin' my inner @taylorswift and comin' to take the title from @jimmyfallon #IJustShakeItOffBaby #RockVsFallon #Spike APRIL 2nd," said "The Rock" in his Instagram post.

The Rock is the second person known to have caught the public's attention while lip-syncing Swift's "Shake It Off." The first was a police officer who was seen lip-syncing to the song while driving a patrol car.

If the show's caption is authentic, The Rock is said to have a head-to-head battle against Jimmy Fallon, the man behind the lip-sync battle. It remains to be seen just how much hilarity can be expected when the show finally airs.

The Rock and Taylor Swift also have a number of things in common. For example, The Rock received four Kids' Choice Awards, including one for "Favorite Male Buttkicker." Swift has been nominated 13 times for the same awards, except, of course, for the category of "Favorite Male Buttkicker."

The Rock has included the date April 2 on the caption of his post. This means lip-sync battle fans can expect to see the full version of his lip-syncing on the mentioned date. The show will air on Spike TV.

Interestingly, The Rock's upcoming movie Furious 7, in which he co-starred with Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker, will arrive in theaters on April 3, 2015. Of course, fans who want to see him do more lip-syncing stunts shouldn't expect it in the movie. However, The Rock's lip-syncing performance may just pave the way for other action heroes to follow his footsteps. Co-star Vin Diesel may just be the next one to appear on the show.
