If your Friday is dragging on a bit too long, here's a video that's guaranteed to give you that boost of adrenaline to get you through the day.
Carowinds Park, an amusement park located on the border between North Carolina and South Carolina, recently released one of the most epic videos ever. It's a video of the first test run of the park's newest coaster, the Fury 325, filmed from the point-of-view of the rider. Those ride simulators in Sim Theme Park have nothing on this.
As you watch the video, which clocks in just under two minutes, it's hard to not to feel like you're actually on a roller coaster. It'll seem like it takes forever to get to the top as the car slowly inches up the seemingly never-ending track. But once you hit that apex, your stomach will churn. The jostling of the camera as the car makes all of the twists and turns in the ride will also probably make you feel nauseous. I hope there are no lines at the bathroom.
The Fury 325 will be the fastest and tallest giga coaster in the world when it opens on March 28 at the Carowinds. A giga coaster is a type of roller coaster that is known for its steep hills and drops and high-speed horizontal turns. Fury 325 will have heights that reach up to 325 feet and speeds of up to 95 miles per hour when it opens later this month.
Watch the full video below and see just how terrifying the Fury 325 is even when you're not really on it.
