Here's a treat for the most hardcore of Marvel fans: AMC Theaters, Cinemark, Harkins, Megaplex, National Amusements and the Regal Entertainment Group will host the Ultimate Marvel Marathon in select theaters in April.
The Ultimate Marvel Marathon will last for 29 hours and will feature 11 straight Marvel movies, beginning with Iron Man on the evening of April 29 and finishing with an early screening of Avengers: Age of Ultron on the evening of April 30.
Tickets for the Marvel spectacle can be purchased for $65 per person, which comes down to a good deal of around $6 per movie.
The movies included in the Ultimate Marvel Marathon, which will be shown consecutively, are Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
For Marvel fans that do not have almost 30 hours of free time to participate in the Ultimate Marvel Marathon, several theaters are also offering double features of The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
For those that do have the time and the endurance to finish the marathon, however, a commemorative medal complete with the logo of the Avengers on it will be awarded for Marvel fan bragging rights.
Avengers: Age of Ultron brings Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye together again as they defend mankind against Ultron, a villain that Iron Man himself created and is hell-bent on wiping off mankind from the planet.
Since the last fight against Loki and his army, Tony Stark developed a plan to create robots that will help in protecting mankind from otherworldly invaders. However, the robot that he created developed a mind of its own as Ultron, who believes that the only way to protect the planet is to destroy all humans.
Also featured in the movie are the first appearances of Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch and Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios just recently released the final trailer for the movie, showing the immense destruction that Ultron and his forces will cause, with only the Avengers capable of stopping him.
Scenes from the final trailer include the superheroes facing off against thousands of Ultron robots and Quicksilver landing a slow-motion punch on Captain America.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in all theaters on May 1. It is widely expected that, similar to the first Avengers movie, the film will make over a billion dollars as fans from all over the world are anticipating the next big screen assembly of "Earth's mightiest heroes."
