It looks like metalheads make for good game show contestants. Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz appeared on the Feb. 10 episode of The Price is Right, and he didn't just win one car, he won two.
Dutkiewicz didn't make it up to the stage until the final price guess, but that doesn't matter. What matters is he won a brand new Honda on his last guess. Then he proceeded to freak out in true Price is Right fashion, as host Drew Carey told viewers at home "Now that is a Price is Right contestant," as he watched on in admiration. Or something like that. You can watch it all in the clip below, courtesy of MetalSucks on YouTube.
But Dutkiewicz wasn't done winning yet. He made his way to the showcase showdown next, where he narrowly beat his fellow contestant by guessing $101 closer to the retail price of a Nissan Frontier truck. Which he also won. Then he freaked out, again. His band made sure to let everybody know that Adam is the undisputed master of The Price is Right on social media.
In total, the rocker won $51,832 in prizes. Not bad. His reactions, though? Those are priceless.
