'Deadpool' Movie: 20th Century Fox Looking For Strong Female Lead - Could She Be Siryn?

20th Century Fox is full-on ready to bring the Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds to life in 2016. The studio is busy looking for an actress to tackle the female role, and so far we have to say the rumored shortlist is not bad.

According to a report from Deadline, Fox is looking at four women, but only one can walk away with this important lead female role. The women on the spotlight are Morena Baccarin from DC's popular TV show Gotham, Taylor Schilling from Orange is the New Black, Crystal Reed from Teen Wolf and Rebecca Rittenhouse from The Red Band Society.

There's a possibility more actresses could be in the mix, but those names are still under lock and key. With these names out in the open, chances are, 20th Century Fox views them as the best frontrunners for the part.

Many fans have been wondering which character could one of these women play in 2016. We did some digging, and we can say for sure that it was not easy to pinpoint the best candidate. However, we did, and we can say that this would be the best option for Fox right now.

The character we're on about is Siryn, pronounced as Siren. She's a crucial person in the life of Deadpool, mainly because both parties were lovers at one point. It would be great if Fox brought her to life and dabbled in their relationship on screen, from how it began to how it ended.

Hold up -- who is Deadpool again? Let's break it down in the simplest way possible.

Deadpool, also known as "The Merc With a Mouth," is an experiment gone wrong. His DNA was fused with that of Wolverine, but things took a wrong turn and his whole body burned beyond recognition. Strangely enough, he survived the injury, walked away with Wolverine's healing abilities, but was unable to heal the burns on his body.

Furthermore, the experiment drove him crazy, so he does and says a lot of crazy things. He's practically a madman who knows how to use a sword and an arsenal of guns. Yes, he should be feared because killing him is not easy since his healing factor far surpasses that of Wolverine, who is also not an easy man to kill.
