Pharrell Williams Unimpressed With Taylor Swift's Dancing at Grammy Awards And This Vine is Proof

Bathed in a hue of blue light at the Grammy, it appeared Pharrell Williams couldn't find it in himself to even feign happiness at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards as a Vine captures the "Happy" (ironic) singer passing along shade to a dancing Taylor Swift.

It's the stuff memes are made of. Swift dances as if no one is watching, though someone is indeed looking at her and that someone, it appears, is none too pleased with her moves.

While only Pharrell knows what was going on in his head at the time, there's a chance that his sharp stare isn't born of disgust. The lyrics of Frontin', one of his early hits may put the viral Vine in perspective:

Don't wanna sound full of myself or rude, but you ain't looking at no other dudes cause you love me. So you think about a chance. You find yourself trying to do my dance -- Pharrell Williams, "Frontin' " 2004

While definitely filled with awkward moments, it was a good night for Pharrell. The singing producer took home a Grammy for "Happy," which won Best Pop Solo Performance.

As mentioned earlier, Pharrell had other awkward moments, even though he tried to avoid such instances.

"I'm not going to make this awkward and long because I was so prepared for everyone else who is so talented in that category to walk away with that award," said Pharrell in accepting his Grammy, later stating: "This is super awkward. I'm going to moonwalk my way off the stage right now."

This failed attempt at a moonwalk constitutes as awkward, fact:

About a month before the Grammy, Ed Sheeran said he already planned to give Pharrell a "good game" handshake for GIRL's projected win for Album of the Year. The pair ended up "shaking hands" for a different Pharrell win, but the moment was just another awkward moment for one half of The Neptunes:

Pharrell wasn't the only one involved in awkward situations at the Grammys, though most of his appeared to be unintentional. Kayne threaten to hijack another thank-you speech, but it appeared he was just toying with the audience.

During Beck's acceptance speech, Kanye crashed the stage and did this:

And just to wrap this detour away from Pharrell's awkward nice, Madonna showed the world she still has plenty of weird left in her:
