The "Shot on iPhone" video and photo showcases have wowed the world over the past years, with Apple partnering with filmmakers and more to showcase their flagship camera's capabilities.
Now, a new rumor from an analyst claims that Apple will yet again introduce new video recording upgrades to the reported iPhone 17 Pro.
In the latest claim from the analyst, Apple is said to want professional videographers and vloggers to let go of their standalone cameras in favor of the iPhone 17 Pro.
Apple Wants You to Let Go of Cameras for the iPhone 17 Pro
In the latest Power On newsletter by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, it has been reported that Apple has made a shift towards its focus with the iPhone 17 Pro's cameras as it now prioritizes video recording.
The analyst claimed that one of Apple's goals for the reported 2025 release of its flagship smartphone is to have professionals, content creators, vloggers, and more to use the iPhone 17 Pro instead of standalone cameras.
It has been reported that Apple intends to invite more users to make a switch to an all-in-one gadget for content creation.
The company reportedly wants more creators to utilize the iPhones for work purposes and other professional needs.

Video Upgrade Rumors For the iPhone 17 Pro
The iPhone 17 Pro is reportedly getting a redesigned rear camera array, focusing on the Google Pixel-like rectangular camera bar that will house its lens, sensors, and torch or flash. This will hold Apple's latest upgrades to the iPhone 17 Pro devices, which will feature three 48-megapixel cameras that are capable of capturing superb quality.
The current flagship still reverts 4K video quality at 120fps, and while this is already high quality for video recording, creators or professionals who prefer 8K have a problem with its automatic switching.
According to MacRumors, Apple has already introduced multiple camera upgrades throughout the years, with the addition of the Cinematic mode, which offers a shallow depth-of-field, and Action mode, which offers image stabilization.
Apple's iPhone 17 Pro Rumors, Speculations
The upcoming Apple flagship has seen strong rumors about its latest redesign for the rear camera array, one that will result in a strange-looking device as it moves away from its square bump at its back. That being said, this redesign is expected to bring better camera upgrades, which Gurman has now revealed to be focused on video recording.
As expected from annual iPhone releases, Apple will again introduce significant camera upgrades that make taking photos and videos easier but yield notable results. That being said, performance will also be the key for Apple with the iPhone 17 lineup, as the new A19 chipset is set to be a "game-changer."
